The Learning Connection Summit prepares and support school teams to lead the healthy school movement in their communities. This event brings together 300+ professionals from the education, health, research, and other supportive communities to create and support schools where all students can succeed — socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. The event is planned by over a dozen local and state organizations, under the leadership of Washington Action for Healthy Kids.
This year’s focus is on how nutrition, physical activity and physical education support learning- highlighting the research and showcasing schools and communities partnering with schools who have established innovative nutrition, physical activity and physical education polices and programs.
